Celebrating 95 Years of Philately & Industry

Organized in the early 20th century, the McKinley Stamp Club has served Stark County collectors for nearly a century, naming itself in honor of Canton’s own 25th President, William McKinley.

Our 2026 Bourse and Exhibition is proudly hosted in North Canton, Ohio - a city with a “sweeping” history. Originally known as New Berlin, the town changed its name in 1918 during WWI. It was here in 1908 that W.H. “Boss” Hoover began manufacturing the first upright vacuum cleaners. The Hoover Company eventually became so successful that its massive volume of outgoing mail and advertising directly necessitated the expansion of the North Canton Post Office. Today, we celebrate the 95th anniversary of our annual show, continuing the tradition of preserving history, one stamp at a time.

Philatelic Design Notes
